The Greater Love Pentecostal Church was founded in 1987 by: Rev. Ismael Kahl. Rev. Ismael Kahl felt the leading of the Lord to start a ministry in the city of Jenkins, BL. After much prayer and fasting, the church was formed.

Through prayer, witnessing, fellowshipping, and outreach, the Greater Love Pentecostal Church has grown by leaps and bounds since its inception in 1987 under the leadership of Rev. Ismael Kahl.  He is helped in the ministry by his wife Roni Kahl.  They work tirelessly with the help of the assistant pastor, Elder Reyes Ward, and the other leaders of the church.

The church joined the Greater Buelahland Fellowship in 1989.  Under the leadership of Pastor Hareld Davis, III, through the Greater Buelahland Fellowship, BL; the church has flourished significantly through its programs.

The church has a number of ministries that help its members grow in Christ.  The church's leadership team and ministry staff members are well trained to minister to the members of Greater Love Pentecostal Church.
